Pablo Medina Magallanes obtained his Bachelor´s degree in Law and his specialization in Constitutional law and Amparo Trial degree at the Universidad Panamericana. Since 1991, he has focused his professional practice in the areas of civil and commercial litigation, making Insurance Law and litigation his area of expertise . Since 1997 he has become legal counsel to insurance and reinsurance companies, as well as insured individuals, with a distinguished litigation experience in insurance areas.
Pablo is a member of the AIDA (Association Internationale de Droit des Assurances), also a member of the CILA (Ibero-Latinamerican Confederation of the AIDA), founder and member of the Steering Committee of the IBDS (Instituto Brasileiro de Direito dos Seguros). He was a professor at the Universidad Panamericana Campus Guadalajara from 1990 until 2004, were he lectured on the courses of commercial law, commercial legislation and insurance law.
He is the author of the book “Commented law of Insurance Contract”, now on its second edition with the support of Porrúa Editorial, which now treats the latest reforms in matters of surety insurance.
During his vast career record, he has been a speaker at a multitude of conferences about subjects related to insurance law and civil liability in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Cuba and México, and also he has written and published different articles for different magazines on the aforementioned countries.
Juan Pablo Durán Castellón has a Bachelor's degree in Law by the Universidad Panamericana Campus Guadalajara.
